Blaydon Bunny Rescue Saving rabbits in desperate need..

About Us

We are a small home based rabbit rescue in the Blaydon area of Gateshead, we started in August 2012 just by taking in one rabbit and it went from there.  Contact us here.

What we do

We take in rabbits that are in urgent need, in the past we have taken them from home's, social services, vets, abandoned and found rabbits.

We then get to know the rabbits and if they need medical help we get it, if they need rehabilitated we do it, we keep them for a period of time then we put them up for adoption, we do home checks and there is paper work to fill in.

Adoption fees apply at all time's as this help the costs of medical bill's food bedding and housing. we do accept donations and these help us in our work very well.

At the moment we are desperate for donations of food and bedding so if anyone can help please contact us.

Thank you all so much for your continued support.

Testimonials

"This is a very friendly and efficient service. clearly care for the animals that they are looking after. I would recommend to anyone looking to adopt a rabbit. I think they would benefit from a website where contacting them would be easier and more efficient and through that they would get more interest" --saz197

"Blaydon Bunny Rescue impressed me because of their obvious dedication to the rabbits in their care including properly socialising them, When I visited them I was made very welcome and felt under no pressure at all. I would highly recommend that anyone thinking of adopting a bunny go and visit.! --EYaneske

"I've just been to Blaydon Bunny Rescue with my daughter to get a bunny for a friend. We met 2 really great guys who made us feel very welcome. The work they do for these rabbits is outstanding and the care they show is second to none. Keep up the great work guys your amazing x." -- Steph, Ryton

" If there were more people like you who cared enough and gave as much as you do, there would be no need for animals to spend years in shelters or live feral because someone couldn't be bothered with them anymore. I think you do a fab job! " -- anon
